Old Harpooner's song

Tall and lean, man at nineteen,
oh! What roads he had walked.

I found him 'lone in a moonlit night,
down at the southern dock.

    He was weak and shivering,
    but his eyes did shine.
A diamond ring and a mandolin,
the only things he called "mine".

He said he came on that snow-white yacht,
which he called the mist of the bay.

His father was a hunter of whales,
his mother was a lily of May.

His father taught him the songs of the sea,
and the whistling of the whales.
He said he will sing one for me,
'fore the dark sky turn pale.

Now all my memories,
are rolling back home.
With the verses of an old harpooner's song.

Took My Fears Away

"Shall I climb the mountain?",
asked the journeyman.
"Hear my last confession,
and tonight let me sleep in your arms."

Now you speak out Judas
about your treachery.
Thirty silver pieces
are more than you can take today.

What is right and what is wrong,
    I will never know.
If I ever heard your song,
cosmic laughter, took my fears away.

You took his wine and his wife,
tore his only jeans.
Hold on close your bloody knife,
now thats' all you've left, as the mountain burns.

"Have you climbed the mountain,
hey, you journeyman.?"
"Could you touch the fiery sun,
with your dreamy soul, one last time?"

What is right and what is wrong,
    I will never know.
If I ever heard your song,
cosmic laughter, took my fears away.

You can no longer hide me

Years ago when I was young,
A pretty child so innocent,
Never had this urge to runaway,
From e'rything seen, e'rything felt.

Then I came to know the world so close,
Realized it can never disclose,
Things I thought I ought to know,
Depressed in heart, here I go.

Even if I flew beyond the
    clouds,
Even if I dived into deep sea,
Even if I melted deep into the
    crowds,
I know, you can no longer hide me.

If you find a saddened mind,
In search for a place to hide,
Let it know that it can find a friend in me,
A real true friend, a faithful friend.

If you think that I had gone wrong,
When I sang the same old song,
Do help me find the right way out I beg,
Please understand and help me stand.

Even if I flew beyond the clouds,
Even if I dived into deep sea,
Even if I melted deep into the crowds,
I know, you can no longer hide me.

You'll find him there

He is standing at the end of the road,
Staring at the show,
How long it will go on he don't know.

You will find him in an empty restaurant,
At an empty table,
Look of a hero in a long gone fable.

Look into the mirror on the wall,
Into the water in a pool,
    You'll find
    him there.

You may hear him shouting in the dark,
Smiling at the stars,
Talking with the fallen leaves in a park.

You may hear him laughing in the rain,
You may hear him sing,
It's just a dream that took him on its wings.

Look into the mirror on the wall,
Into the water in a pool,
    You'll find
    him there.

He found this world too cruel to live in,
So he is leavin'
To live the life of a new born dolphin.

I don't like debts

Looking for the reason,
for you've been crowned,
I got fed up,
Searching in vain.

Your hand in treason,
Oh! I just can't believe,
This fight I am giving up,
Crying in pain.

I will come back,
To pay what I owe,
Don't forget the past,
You'll reap what you sow.

I will come back,
To settle that debt,
I will pay back,
'cos I don't like debts.

Sooner or later,
I will strike back,
I will be there,
To see you in sack.

Black hole in the brain

Hanging from the ceiling and saying the world is not right,
Dreaming in the cool-cool moonlight.

Boyfriend of Cleopatra, swimming in the Nile,
Playing hide and seek with crocodiles.

    Never seen, never seen,
This ever growing black hole in the brain.
    Never
    seen, never seen,
This ever growing black hole in the brain.

He feel so free, feel so fine, fighting Philistines,
Got Bob Dylan singing on the line.

Serenading Romeo, Juliet's heart he stole,
By slaying Hercules so strong and tall.

    Never seen, never seen,
This ever growing black hole in the brain.
    Never
    seen, never seen,
This ever growing black hole in the brain.

Bilateral discussion with great Napoleon,
Finds delight in Arabic stallions.

One more sun is left to die and nothing left to say,
All the dreams will make for him a day.

    Never seen, never seen,
This ever growing black hole in the brain.
    Never
    seen, never seen,
This ever growing black hole in the brain.

Lone stranger

It's a strange world we are living in,
It will do just anything,
In war and in love.

I am singing this old melody,
For the sake of my love's tragedy,
I may laugh, I may cry.

Some people lives out in the moonlight,
    Crying over the chances they've
    lost,
Some guys still hang out in the corner,
    Guessing you will change
    your mind out there.

But I'm just a lone stranger to this
    part,
Trying a way to get into your heart.

Love has got no sanity,
When you find it's vanity,
It'll be late, you'll be out.

I know all these theories,
The only thing that is wrong with me,
Is my love for you.

But I'm not the one to cry my loses,
And I won't let you walk off my
    shoes.
You've got to open your heart right now,
    Don't let this lonely
    stranger down.

I'm just a lone stranger to this part,
    Trying a
way to get into your heart.

You can never make a lasting name,
In these old and foolish games,
Of love and war.

I know all these principles,
The only thing that now cripples,
Is my love for you.

Some people lives out in the moonlight,
    Crying over the chances they've
    lost,
Some guys still hang out in the corner,
    Guessing you will change
    your mind out there.

But I'm just a lone stranger to this
    part,
Trying a way to get into your heart.

Brewing hot

Somethings' wrong,
You don't know,
The fading song,
And the falling snow,
Make me wonder why,
I don't try.

Lonely nights,
With stars above,
Neon lights,
In the streets below,
But I have lost the sunshine,
of my life.

    My heart is still searching,
Like a child waking from the sleep,
    The
    patent boots I'm wearing,
    Can't keep the cold outside,
    I' m brewing
    hot ...

Can't find my job,
My love is gone,
Life goes hard,
Like a stone
I wonder who can save me,
from this sea.

No regrets,
And no comforts,
My soul is wet,
Smelling dirt,
Will you ever know my,
Inside?

    My heart is still searching,
Like a child waking from the sleep,
    The
    patent boots I'm wearing,
    Can't keep the cold outside,
    I'm brewing
    hot ...

Each time you say no

Lying heart broke in the sunshine,
Counting each moment, cursing myself,
The fault is all mine.

Found your note by my window,
Can't read it one more time, sleepy black ink,
Words that I can't follow.

E'ry time you close your eyes,
Just one things' left to see,
    The truth
    inside of me,
That you blamed away as lie.
    E'ry time you turn the
    knob,
One thing I can say for sure,
    Each time you say no,
    I love you
    more.

I thought you will call me one day,
Waited so long, wasted all my time,
Finding hard to kill the days.

You hold on to your reason,
For going all alone, but I can't go alone,
This endless winter season.

E'ry time you close your eyes,
Just one things' left to see,
    The truth
    inside of me,
That you blamed away as lie.
    E'ry time you turn the
    knob,
One thing I can say for sure,
    Each time you say no,
    I love you
    more.

Turn off time

Found at the break of dawn,
When all the mist has gone,
He was the perfect picture boy.

He listened to the wind that tell,
Tale of the thousand bells,
To learn what is freedom and joy.

He broke from the solitary bondage,
At the break of the day.
    He spoke like
the prophet of the new age,
Said he will turn off time, turn off time.

Then he met Mary Jane,
Who smelt like margarine,
And the wind no longer blew for him.

She took him to a distant land,
A land with golden sand,
Where the light of the day n'er die.

He broke from the solitary bondage,
At the break of the day.
    He spoke like
the prophet of the new age,
Said he will turn off time, turn off time.

He walked up river Oron,
Where all the dreams are born,
He walked till the wreck of his past.

He saw the house of the wind,
Heard the thousand bells ring,
And came to know the truth too fast.

He broke from the solitary bondage,
At the break of the day.
    He spoke like
the prophet of the new age,
Said he will turn off time, turn off time.

Possible of the impossibles

I'm sitting on this old armchair,
I can see the red sun going down.
I can hear the sounds of the weekend fair,
down at the streets of my home town.

I always loved to talk to myself.
Mother said, "son, you are not sane".
When I see the stars coming to life,
feels I've escaped all my pain.

Wish someone was near me this moment,
Someone to love me as I am,
    Someone to care and realize,
That I'm the possible of the impossibles.

Look into me

Nothins' left to explore,
Nothin' left to show,
Up there in the attic,
Down in the store.

Running out of spirit,
Running out of gas,
Oh! What a happy
child I was.

Lit up the candle,
to look beyond the door,
But thats' not I want,
I want some more.

Searching all the way,
Digging up the dirt,
Theres' a black scorpion,
Crawling up my shirt.

The only thing I've never done,
    was to look into me.
The only thing I've ever done,
Was to look for what I can't see.

Papas' in a boredom,
So he went to war.
To get over my boredom,
I went searching in the stars.

Mamas' scolding sister,
for breaking the new glass.
It was mama who exploded,
the nuclear flask.

I switch on the TV,
to watch football,
All I could see,
is the burning of the wall.

Into the peaceful moon,
I'd like to leap,
Biting on a spoon,
I went to sleep.

The only thing I've never done,
was to look into me.
The only thing I've ever done,
Was to look for what I can't see.

Wall Of Steel

I was trying to move in,
the feelings I long to feel.

You were trying to move out,
& kill our old-old deal.

Always tried to show-off the way you feel,
& ignore what I had to say.
Always tried to build a - wall of steel,
& made me turn out from my way

E'ry day I try to find,
a way thats' all my own.

E'ry night when I know the lone,
I know all my strength is just gone.

Thinking of our best times, the way you smiled,
I get swept out for a while.
I can't get my vision - o'er the wall of steel,
I don't want to know it but its real.
